Analysing Open-ended Comments (almost) for free

ResearchWiseRay Poynter, 22 November 2024

Do you have a set of open-ended comments that you’d like to analyse, for example from a survey? With ResearchWiseAI you can do that. You can read how to do it below, or you can watch a four-minute YouTube video by clicking here.

Steps to analyse your open-ended comments with ResearchWiseAI

  1. Create a file with a header and your open-ended comments, for example an Excel File.
  2. If you don’t have a ResearchWiseAI account, open one for free by clicking here.
  3. Click Create Project on the main page
  4. Give your project a name and select your data file
  5. ResearchWiseAI will tell you how many credits the project will use, in the video I use a file with about 300 comments and the cost would have been $2.50. BUT, a new account is gifted $50 for free, so the first 20 projects of this size would be free.
  6. Enter a Business Question to help the AI produce your summary.
  7. Please wait while the data is processed and then read the Executive Summary, see the Themes it generates, the sentiment analysis, and a word cloud.
  8. You can then export the updated data file, which includes your original data, the theme to which each open-ended comment is allocated, and its sentiment score.

Do your analysis for Free?

Although, you need to spend credits to run the analyses, we give you $50 worth of credits when you sign up. This is enough to run 20 projects like the one in the video, for free!

More complex files

You can also use ResearchWiseAI to process more complex files, which can be a mixture of open and closed questions. Find out more by watching this video.
