The State of Research and Insights

NewMR is currently conducting the sixth wave of our State of Research and Insight study. We have conducted two waves in 2023, two in 2024, and this will be the second wave in 2025. The data collection will continue until the end of December, and the results will be shared in January 2026. We will share the results as a report and as a presentation.

I just see the numbers of older researchers retiring, the number of client-undertaken surveys, the inadequacy of many of those, the plethora of online surveys on pointless purchases or uses, diminishing response levels and willingness to assist market research among the population, and that other information and better data, will replace market research as we know it now.
    Market research will follow the typing pools – an interesting historical footnote in future business texts of work types that emerged, grew, withered and died within a century of their establishment. Lamented by those who were market researchers and forgotten by everyone else.
