About the series

Each session, Ray Poynter brings the five useful AI tips for researchers right now: techniques he is using in his own consulting work, things he has watched land in courses and webinars, and the tools and prompts that have shifted in the last few weeks.

Every tip is demonstrated live, with the actual prompt or workflow shared so you can copy it straight into your own AI tool. From session two onwards, the tip list is shaped in part by what attendees have been asking, so the series keeps getting more useful the longer you stay with it.

How each session runs

Each session is 60 minutes, live on Zoom:

  • Featured platform partner: a 10-minute showcase from a research technology partner, picked for relevance to the AI tips that follow.
  • Five AI tips with Ray Poynter: each tip demonstrated live, with Q&A running through.

What you get from each session

  • A featured platform partner, with a short showcase relevant to that session’s tips
  • Five hottest AI tips, picked fresh for the session, demonstrated live on screen
  • The prompts and workflows Ray uses, shared so you can use them too
  • Live Q&A, with answers to your real, current challenges
  • The full recording, including Q&A, sent to all registrants after the session
  • A voice in what comes next: your questions help shape the next session

The three sessions

Each session brings a fresh set of five hottest tips. Each works as a standalone webinar, so you can join any session, in any order, with no catching up to do.

  • Session 1, Tuesday 30 June 2026: Five hottest AI tips right now. The series opener.
  • Session 2, Tuesday 22 September 2026: Five hottest tips, shaped by you. Several tips chosen because attendees said they wanted to know more.
  • Session 3, Tuesday 17 November 2026: Five hottest tips, shaped by you. The series closer. Ray will also share what worked across the trial series and where it goes from here.

FAQ

Will the same tips be repeated across sessions? No. Each session brings a fresh five. If a tip from an earlier session generates a lot of questions, Ray may revisit it briefly, but the headline five are always new.

What’s the featured platform partner slot? Each session opens with a 10-minute showcase from a research technology partner, picked for relevance to the AI tips that follow. The remaining 50 minutes are Ray’s, with five hottest tips and Q&A.

Do I need any AI tools to attend? No. The sessions are useful even if you only watch. That said, you will get more value if you have access to one of the major AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini), so you can try the tips alongside the demonstrations.

Can I join the series after session one? Yes. Each session works as a standalone, so there is no catching up to do. Your one Zoom registration covers all three dates.

How does my Q&A question shape later sessions? Ray notes the questions that recur or that he cannot fully answer in the live Q&A, and uses them to inform the tip list for later sessions.

Will the sessions be recorded? Yes. Every session is recorded and shared with registrants, including the Q&A portion.
