John has spent more than 25 years as a researcher and planner. As planning director of MHA direct marketing and Grey Integrated he developed numerous through the line campaigns. Since 2000 he ran his own research consultancy Planning Above and Beyond working with clients such as New Look, Tesco and IHG hotels. During which time he won the MRS prize for Best New Thinking twice in 2004 and 2010. He won Best Workshop of 2011 the first time the award has been given.
John is responsible for product development at Spring as well as consulting on research projects.
