Madhumita is a familiar face around the research industry, both within Asia and globally, for example presenting papers at conferences in locations as diverse as China, UK, Malaysia, Switzerland, Indonesia, Austria, Vietnam, France and Malta over the last few years. In addition, Madhumita is the India Representative for ESOMAR (the global market research society).
Madhumita’s experience started on the supplier side, but for the last seven years she has been with PepsiCo, giving her experience both as a provider and buyer of knowledge services across CPG, Foods & Beverages, Telecom and Financial Services. Madhumita has holistic experience in Market Research, Advisory Services, Business Research, Consumer Insights and Shopper Insights & Category Management. She is presently working on special assignments for the Global Analytics group in PepsiCo’s New York Headquarters.
Madhumita describes her specialities as including: Marketing in Asia, Global Project Management, Marketing and Advertising Research, and C-Suite Specific Strategic Research.
At the recent ESOMAR Asia Pacific Conference in Shanghai, Madhumita took a leading role in events, joining a client panel to discuss the competing and complementary contributions of Australia, India, Japan and Korea to the future of innovation and research growth, presenting a paper on how to “Build an Effective Network in Your Organisation” and then running a master class session on this topic. She will be co-presenting at the ESOMAR 70th Congress in September on an interesting topic of Marketing vs Research perspectives.
