Dorrie has over twenty years of experience in the research industry and has conducted hundreds of qualitative studies around the globe for a wide variety of leading companies. She is a pioneer in online methodologies including discussion boards, insight communities, digital ethnographies and remote shop-a-longs.
Dorrie earned her Master Moderator TM certificate at the RIVA Moderator Training Institute and was a trainer there for several years. She was on the Board of Directors for the QRCA, and, prior to starting Leapfrog Marketing Research, Dorrie worked in the New York advertising industry where she managed a variety of accounts at DDB Needham Worldwide and Jordan, McGrath, Case & Taylor. She moved from San Francisco to Tokyo with her family last summer for a family adventure and has been living her own real-life ethnography since then.
