Biography

Khary Campbell is currently the Assistant Vice President of Research & Innovation for L’Oreal USA (LUSA). In his role Khary leads the Consumer Sciences team which designs & executes all consumer facing product evaluation while working with teams both upstream and downstream to develop recommendations for domestic and global product launches. As part of the Global Consumer Sciences Management team, Khary plays an active role in strategic roadmap development and implementation with a special focus on Innovation practices.

Khary Campbell was previously the Head of Insights for General Mills Yogurt Operating Unit. As a member of the leadership team, Khary ensured the consumer was reflected in business strategy and enabled his team to deliver a combination of foresights and an understanding of marketplace performance to drive growth.

Prior to General Mills Khary spent six years within the vendor sector of the market research industry, including opening Schlesinger Associates San Francisco office and developing new approaches for The WPP Group New York location. Khary also spent three years as the Co-Founder and Director of Business Operations for media company C&C Partnership that published Scheme Magazine.

Khary has led several Employee Resource Groups, most notably The Black Champions Network and Diverse Marketers Champions Circle. Khary is currently on the National Board of Directors for the Insights Association and previously served as the President of the Upper Midwest Insights Association Chapter for 2019.

A native of Bloomfield, CT, he graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor’s in Marketing and received his M.B.A from NYU’s Stern School of Business with concentrations in Corporate Finance and Marketing.
