Remon is co-founder of delvv.io, a qualitative research startup that enables brands and agencies to get feedback on their marketing assets anywhere in the world, by tapping into local marketing, advertising and creative professionals. In 2016, delvv.io became an Endeavor company, finalists of the FNB Business Innovation Awards and winners of the Startup World Cup Africa regionals – where Remon will be participating as 1 of 16 global finalists. He is currently servicing clients such as Unilever, Barclays and Indeed.com globally.
Previously, Remon worked for Millward Brown and FireflyMB. There he had the privilege to service numerous brands such as Unilever, GM, Coca-Cola, Nestle, Ferrero and Bacardi, and has conducted studies in over 30 countries. He was part of the team that won the best client service award in the NAMET-RUB region from Unilever, as well as 1 of 4 African researchers to receive “the Champion award” whilst at FireflyMB. Before his career in marketing research, he was an academic who was responsible for 50+ lecturers and 2500+ college students, where he was a thought leader in the use of technology in South African classrooms.
Academically he holds a masters in Psychology of Education and has completed the PhD research methods module – which incidentally is a requirement for his current work: PhD Psychology of Education, at the University of Johannesburg. His professors are world renowned qualitative researchers, specialising in phenomenological and exploratory methodology. Remon is a burger connoisseur and enjoys South African wine.
