Sami Wong

Biography

Sami Wong is a qualitative researcher with over 20 years of experience, focusing on depth psychology. She is the Founder and Managing Partner of 3Drips Psychology·Research·Consulting and also works as the Beijing Representative and Chief Culture Officer at the Asian General Chamber of New Retail (ANR). Since 2008, she has been a lecturer at Tsinghua University (Beijing China), where she also supports the university’s research team.

Sami has spoken at international conferences like ESOMAR, QUAL360, and MRMW. Today, she regularly shares insights on China Global Television Network (CGTN)’s China 24 and Asia Today, and in 2023, appeared as the expert psychologist on Tencent’s Heart Signal – Season 6.

She is also a board member of the International Forum for Social Innovation (I.F.S.I.) in France and gives bilingual mental well-being talks for UnitedHealth Group (U.S.).

Both a Chinese and Australian cultural background; she lives between Hong Kong, Beijing, and Melbourne. She speaks English, Mandarin, and Cantonese fluently, and a moderate level of Japanese.

Besides this, her research work frequently takes her across Asia Pacific, America, and Europe. As a result of her multi-national background and working experience, Sami is very passionate about human behaviours, as well as the cultural influences on people’s lifestyle and their mental wellbeing.
