Carole Gleeson
Biography
Carole D. Gleeson joined Johnson & Johnson (J&J) in January 2021 as Global Commercial Insights Lead and is responsible for primary market research, analytics, forecasting, and competitive intelligence in a broad range of autoimmune diseases.
Although she has worked across the product lifecycle in various roles, Carole specializes in programs in preclinical- to mid-stage of development and positions that require translating trends, patterns, and observations into commercial strategy. Prior to joining J&J, she was Director, New Product Planning & Strategy at Momenta Pharma where she conducted insight-driven assessments and delivered recommendations for pipeline programs in rare diseases. At Alkermes, Carole focused on understanding the market dynamics in psychiatry as Director, New Product Planning and then Director, Lifecycle Management.
From leading the Global Competitive Intelligence function at EMD Serono/Merck KGaA to conducting technology assessments at Boston Scientific to developing long-term forecasting at Decision Resources, she has applied the scientific and entrepreneurial mindset in all her roles.
Carole earned an MBA from Babson’s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, an MS in Epidemiology from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and a BS in Biology from Tufts University.
